Tunis (Arabic:تونس, Tūnis) is a village on the southern edge of the Qārūn Lake in the el-Faiyūm in Egypt. Because of its remoteness, it has been home to several artists such as writers, painters and ceramists since around 1985. Here is the first one Caricature Museum in the near East.
getting there
