- Glenveagh National Park - Located in County Donegal, the park (Literally "Park of the Birches") is one of the major regional attractions. It is famous for its mountain and lake landscapes and also for its fauna. Aquila chrysaetos (golden eagle) have been successfully reintroduced there.
