Uster is a city in Zurich Oberland. As an attractive residential city on the water, it has grown strongly in recent years. Due to its proximity to Zurich and its location in the Zurich Oberland between the Greifensee and the Pfäffikersee it is very interesting for tourists and for overnight guests a cheaper alternative to the expensive hotels in Zurich. Many excursion destinations can be reached quickly and easily both by car and public transport.

There are direct bus connections from Pfäffikon (line 830, mostly every half hour), Fehraltorf (line 827, every hour), Oetwil am See (line 842/845, every quarter of an hour) and Schwerzenbach (line 725, every quarter to an hour).
In the street

A Swiss Post branch is right next to the Illuster shopping center in the city center. Mailboxes are distributed throughout the city and are usually easily accessible on foot.
ATMs / Postomats are mainly located in and around the train station. There are also some in the city's shopping malls.
All mobile phone providers in Switzerland offer very good network coverage in the city. There are telephone booths at the train station and at the post office.
