Uusikaupunki (Nystad in Swedish) is a city of the Finland located in the region of West Coast.
To know
Although its name literally means new city, Uusikaupunki, founded in 1617, is one of the oldest towns in the nation. In 1721 the peace treaty was signed in Uusikaupunki which ended the Great Northern War between Sweden and Russia.

- Old town with ancient wooden houses.
- Vanha kirrko, 44 Alinenkatu.
June-August Mon-Sat 11: 00-17: 00, Sun 12: 00-16: 00. Church of 1629. It represents the oldest building in the city. It is a gray granite church with beautiful barrel vaults decorated with stars. Inside it still preserves the original rustic counters, paintings and wooden statues of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
- Uusi kirrko, 1 Rauhankatu.
June-August Mon-Sat 11: 00-17: 00, Sun 12: 00-16: 00. Gothic style church, from 1863.
- Myllymäki, 3 Myllyrinne. Located east of the town, there remain four of the mills for which the city was once famous.
- Bonk Museum, 2 Siltakatu.

June-August Mon-Sun 10: 00-18: 00. Born from the imagination of local artist Alvar Gullichsen, it tells the story of the Bonk dynasty, which became the owner of an industrial empire leader in the production of useless and non-functioning machinery.

- Laitila - 20 km to the north-east, a town where there is a Gothic church from 1460/1480.
