Therme Vals

The only thermal spring in the Canton of Graubünden is located in Vals. The 30 ° Celsius warm spring promotes iron-containing water. It is located in the Valsertal, which is still a German-speaking island in the otherwise Rhaeto-Romanic Surselva.   • Vals is probably the best preserved Walser settlement in the canton of Graubünden.
  • The Therme Vals belongs to the 7132 Hotel (formerly Hotel Therme). The futuristic building from 1996 was designed by the architect Peter Zumthor built and therefore also attracts architecture enthusiasts. The thermal bath is only open to non-hotel guests between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., it is strongly recommended that you make a reservation. The pool is closed between the beginning of April and the end of May.
