Cuc Phuong National Park (or Cuc Phuong forest) is a nature reserve and special-use forest located on the boundary of 3 areas. northwest, Red river delta and North Central in three provinces: Ninh Binh, Peace, Thanh Hoa. This national park has a rich and diverse flora and fauna characterized by tropical rainforests. This is the first national park in Vietnam.

History
As an archaeological site, relics of prehistoric people dating back about 12,000 years have been discovered such as graves, stone axes, stone arrows, shell knives, grinding tools... in some The caves here prove that people lived in this area from 7,000 to 12,000 years ago.

Cuc Phuong is located in the southeast of the Tam Diep mountain range, a limestone mountain range running from Son La province in the northwest. This limestone mountain range is dominated by natural karsts, formed in the ocean about 200 million years ago.

From Hanoi: Visitors can get to Cuc Phuong from Giap Bat bus station located in the south of the city. Take a bus to Nho Quan, a location near this national park. At Giap Bat station, there are many buses in the morning and afternoon for about 50,000 VND. From Nho Quan, you can take a motorbike taxi to the national park operator for about 40,000 VND. Total travel time is about 2 to 3 and a half hours.
Alternatively, you can book sightseeing tickets with travel agents in Hanoi to get to Cuc Phuong.
From Ninh Binh city: Take a motorbike taxi to Cuc Phuong garden for about 100.00 VND and rent a car for about 300,000 to 400,000 VND.

From Hanoi, follow Highway 1A towards Ninh Binh, go to Gian Khau junction (10 km from Ninh Binh city), turn right along National Highway 12A, pass Nho Quan town 2 km and then turn left into Cuc Phuong .
