- St. Peter and Paul Church. Late Gothic. Donated by Friedrich zu Dohna and Andreas Kreutzen. Built 1605-11. Expanded in the 18th century. A tower that was added later was covered with a helmet in 1826. The main altar 1652 is very beautiful. Pulpit 17th century. Confessionals at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. The oldest organ in Masuria, 1647. Above the entrance gate of the tower, the coat of arms of the Kreutzen and Dohna families. The church can be seen from the city harbor, from the square in front of the castle, in the NE.
- Castle of the Teutonic Order. Built in the 14th century as a three-wing building with towers and battlements. The castle faces the city harbor and is open. It was rebuilt several times and in the 18th century approximated to the baroque. Burned down in World War II. Rebuilt in the 1980s. Today privately owned. Best seen from the city harbor.
- 1 Wolfsschanze, Army High Command. Angerburg can also be the starting point for a bike tour to Mamerki at the entrance of the Great Masurian Canal. In Mamerki you can still see the relics of the former 200 bunkers. The OKH was located here from 1941-44. On to Görlitz, here you can also see the relics of Hitler's former headquarters. There are guided tours by historians. In the vicinity of the lakes there are still many bunkers, because every size of this gang of criminals had to have a domicile in beautiful Masuria.
- Local history museum. From the port, on the path to the west, the culture museum can be visited. There you will find the typical wooden houses of Masuria and many agricultural tools.
- The Great Masurian Canal. Its relics can also still be seen, including the huge lock systems. The canal was tackled before the First World War and resumed before the Second World War, but was never completed. The relics on Polish territory can be viewed, the part that is in the Russian enclave, unfortunately, not. The plan was to connect the Masurian Lakes with the Baltic Sea near Königsberg.
