Waldems is a municipality in the Rheingau-Taunus district and is located at the northwestern foot of the Feldberg massif at an altitude of 250 to 629 meters.

In addition to Esch, the municipality consists of 5 other districts:

  • 1 Bermbach
  • 2 Niederems (with Reinborn)
  • 3 Reichenbach
  • 4 Steinfischbach and
  • 5 Wüstems. The seat of the municipal administration is in Esch (see also the map on the dynamic map below).
