Weissbach (Hohenlohe) is a community in the Hohenloher level, she lies in Kochertal.
background
Weißbach was first mentioned in a document in 1283. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the neighboring Niederstetten Brine was pumped, which flowed through wooden pipelines to a salt works in Weißbach. In the 19th century, a textile factory was built in place of the unprofitable saltworks. The company developed from this Konrad Hornschuch, their main products are artificial leather and high quality foils.
In addition to the town of the same name, the municipality of Weißbach also includes the formerly independent municipality of Crispenhofen and a few other residential areas.
