Windisch is a municipality in the district Brugg in the canton Aargau in the Switzerland.

By train
The Brugg train station is located on the municipal boundary between Brugg and Windisch. Express trains to Aarau-Olten-Bern, Basel and Zurich stop here, the S12 of the Zurich S-Bahn ends here.

- Vindonissa. The former Roman legion camp. The amphitheater and the reconstructions based on the excavations are worth a visit.
