Ile de Bréhat is an island in Côtes-d’Armor.

getting there
Arrival is only possible by ship. Due to the strong tides, the jetties reach far into the sea, so that the ferry docks at three different points on the quay both on Île de Bréhat and on the mainland. A walk of 10 to 15 minutes should be planned for each end of the quays. There are three parking spaces on the mainland: 1 P1 (600 vehicles and toilet), 2 P2 (250) and one 3 Short term parking (30). On weekends, the parking spaces can quickly become overcrowded despite the large number of spaces.

On the island, shorter distances are traveled by foot, longer distances by bike. There are several bike rentals at the pier. With them and in the 1 Tourist Information there are very precise and free island maps on which several hiking and cycling routes are marked (1 to 4 hours). In front of zones where bicycles are forbidden like the 1 Plague you Guerzido and the 1 Downtown there are designated bicycle parking spaces.
Tourist Attractions
The island is a sight in itself. The best way to experience this is to stroll along paths and gravel paths between the large and beautiful gardens of the well-preserved houses. Also worth seeing are:
- 3 La citadelle. houses a glass factory.Price: 2 €.
- 4 Eglise paroissiale Notre-Dame de Bonne-Nouvelle. Worth seeing church with cemetery.
- 5 Chapelle Saint-Michel

On Île de Bréhat you can go on very different and beautiful hikes and walks. At this point, the tourist information should once again point out the good island plans.
The Plague you Guerzido is perfect for bathing and relaxing. The large tide differences of 10 meters (!) Must be taken into account.
A kind of sports center with 2 Basket, football and tennis court can be found in the center of the island. There is also a large meadow with benches.
