history
Andorra is a small buffer country established by the Charlemagne Empire in the Spanish border area in the 9th century to prevent harassment by the Moors. In 1278, the law and the West concluded a peace treaty, and enjoyed the administrative and religious powers of Andorra. Both parties have the right to appoint their own representatives and receive symbolic tributes. In the following hundreds of years, conflicts between Spain and France for Andorra occurred frequently. After the outbreak of the French Revolution in 1789, Andorra broke off relations with France. In 1806, Napoleon issued a decree recognizing Andorra's right to survive, and relations between the two countries were restored. Since then, the security bureau has been relatively stable. On January 4, 1982, the system reform was implemented, and the executive power was changed from the parliament to the government. On May 14, 1995, Andorra passed the new constitution in a referendum and became a sovereign state.
