The tour route of the sightseeing bus often chooses to climb from the Kawaguchikoguchi. If tourists drive up the mountain by car, they often choose Gotemba Exit, which has a larger parking lot. According to relevant estimates, about 200,000 tourists visit Mount Fuji every year. However, since the top of Mount Fuji is located above 3000 meters above sea level, the temperature is very low, and it is only about 5 degrees Celsius in summer, so you need to make adequate preparations for climbing. In general, Mount Fuji is open for climbing from July 1st to August 26th every year. After entering September, the mountain was gradually closed. Above the eighth station, it merges with the Sugoguchi route into one hiking trail.
- Advantages: There are many rest spots on the way, and the transportation is convenient. It is the most commonly used route for group travel. Even if you don't climb to the top, you can still see the sunrise.
- Disadvantages: longer walking time. There is a lot of people in the tourist season, and the roads above the 8th station are very crowded.
