History
In the place where Agios Konstantinos is located in antiquity was the city of Opounta Lokra Dafnonas, which was also their westernmost city. The city was an important port and was walled. Parts of the wall are preserved in the "Isomata" position. Settlements began to be created in the area during the Turkish occupation, such as Vorlovos, Evlogia and Neochori. In 1832 a Byzantine icon of Saints Constantine and Helen was discovered at Grados and the inhabitants of the pre-existing settlements moved there, creating Saint Constantine. After the earthquakes of 1894, a large part of the settlements were destroyed.
