THE Fthiotida is her area Mainland Greece. It has an area of 4,441t. km and a population of 158,231 inhabitants. It borders with Euboea via the Gulf of Evia to the east, the Boeotia and Φωκίδα to the south, the Etoloakarnania to the southwest, the Evrytania and the area Karditsa to the west, the area Of Larissa to the north and Magnesia in the East. It traditionally consisted of three provinces: Fthiotida, Lokrida and Domokou.
