The Perpignan (French Perpignan) is the capital of the department of Eastern Pyrenees (Pyrénées-Orientales) in SouthwestFrance, just 30 km from French-Spanish borders.

It is easy to visit the city on foot, with its main attractions concentrated around the center, between the fortress and the river Te.
