Aguas Turbias National Park is a national park in Orange Walk District in Belize.
background
This national park, established in 1994, stretches from the border to Guatemala and Mexico up to the immediate limit to Rio Bravo Conservation Area and covers about 30 square kilometers of rainforest. Efforts are being made to establish a national park administration, as Belize and Mexico are increasingly interfering with the rich but sensitive ecosystem. Currently, this national park is generally not open to the public.
