Albion is a town in Western New York in the US- federal state new York. The Village of Albion lies within the more extensive Town of Albion.

The main attraction is the open-air museum of the, 3 km north of Albion Cobblestone Society.

background

Founded in 1812, the Village of Albion became the county’s administrative seat in 1825. The town experienced an economic boom through the Erie Canal, which was also opened in 1825.
