Altmühltal-Panoramaweg - Altmühltal-Panoramaweg

The approx. 200 km long Altmühltal Panorama Trail runs along the eponymous river through the Altmuehltal of Gunzenhausen to Kelheim. He bears the predicate "Wanderbaren Deutschland" des German Hiking Association.

The path leads on varied valley and high passages along the Altmühl, past romantic rocky landscapes and Juniper Heath. Length: 198 km from Altmühlsee via Pappenheim, Eichstätt to Kelheim through a varied landscape with beech forests, bizarre rocks, wide open spaces Jura Heights. Loop paths lead to special sights, which, designed as circular paths, always lead back to the actual hiking trail.
