Greater Antilles - Antillas Mayores

The greater Antilles or Greater Antilles is a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea located east of Yucatan (Mexico) and southeast of the Florida (United States) and west of the Lesser Antilles or Lesser Antilles. The group is made up of the islands of Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (which includes the Dominican Republic and Haiti), Puerto Rico and the Isle of Youth. The BahamasAlthough neighboring, they do not make up this geographical unit.
