The Anthony Monastery or Deir el-Anbā Anṭūniyūs (also St. Anthony Monastery, Arabic:دير الأنبا أنطونيوس‎, Dair al-Anbā Anṭūniyūs, spoken: Dēr il-Amba Antoniyus) is a monastery in the Arabian desert in the egyptianGovernorateRed Sea. It is located about 45 km southwest of the lighthouse of Ra's Za'farāna and 290 km southeast of Cairo away.
