Aachen (in German: Aachen) is a city of the Germany.

The city of Aachen is located in a valley surrounded by wooded hills, the Wurm valley, a tributary of the Roer, a tributary river of the Meuse. Due to its position it is the westernmost city in Germany. Thermal center and important industrial center, it was the seat of the court of Charlemagne, who had the famous Cathedral built there, which, since 1978, has been declared byUNESCO World Heritage Site.
