Territories and tourist destinations
Aragon is divided into the following three territories:
Urban centers
- Zaragoza (Zaragoza) - Capital of the autonomous community of Aragon.
- Barbastro - Ancient agricultural and commercial town.
- Calatayud - Center of great importance in Roman times.
- Huesca - Ancient Aragonese town with an illustrious past.
- Jaca - Considered one of the most important ski resorts in Spain.
- Los Monegros - It houses some monasteries and other monuments of historical and artistic interest.
- Teruel - In Teruel there are some buildings included in the World Heritage List; these along with others are known as Mudejar architecture of Aragon.
- Torla - Small but charming Pyrenean village almost entirely built in stone.
