Itineraries

  • Rural surroundings of Oban - Oban is at the terminus of a branch of the West Highland line, a railway that winds its way through magnificent landscapes. If you are not interested in the tourist places that can be encountered along the highway you can arrive from Glasgow to Oban directly by train, taking three hours or so. However it is recommended to get off at the station Loch Awe, one stop before Oban. Loch Awe is a lake set between mountains covered with woods and counted among the most beautiful in Scotland.
