Bayonga Islands - Bayonga Inseln

The Bayonga Islands is an archipelago in the Bay of Bengal and belongs to Myanmar. The three islands lie in front of the state Sittwe in the mouth of the Kaladan River. One island is used for oil production while the other two are inhabited by fishermen.

getting there

Ships leave from Sittwe out to the islands. You can either take the liner or charter a private boat on the quay at Sittwe. A permit is required to enter the islands.
