Berrechid (برشيد in Arab) is a city Moroccan and the capital of the eponymous province. It is located at 30 km South of Casablanca, the economic capital. Berrechid is known for its mental asylum and its industrial zone. Agriculture is not absent since its participation at the national level is 13.25%.
