Bestwig is a sauerland City in Ruhr valley on the edge of Arnsberg Forest Nature Park.
background
The small community of Bestwig is elongated in a north-south direction between Olsberg and Meschede. The begins in the north Arnsberg Forest Nature Park, which offers many hiking opportunities. The flows through the middle of the largest district Dysentery, mostly a leisurely river. The Valme and Elpe streams flow here.
