Bhutanese national dish isema datse. It is a stew made with cheese, pepper and green peppers very often consumed by the Bhutanese on the occasion of the festivals and the ceremonies. Close to the Nepalese culture, it is common to consume momo (kinds of ravioli) and thukpa (noodles).
