Billund is a center of the Jutland.

Billund is a company town which means that most of its businesses are owned by Lego. The city is famous for the "Legoland" amusement park, the second tourist destination in the country, after the capital Copenhagen.

Billund is approximately 13 kilometers (8 miles) from Grindsted, 56 kilometers (35 miles) from Esbjerg and 27 kilometers (17 miles) from the regional capital Vejle.

Entrance to the Legoland park
- 1 Legoland. The most famous amusement park in Denmark where famous monuments are reproduced in scale with the famous plastic Lego bricks. There are other similar parks in the world, but the one in Billund, opened in 1968, is the oldest. Visited by around 2 million people annually, Legoland is the second largest tourist attraction in the Denmark after the Tivoli of Copenhagen.

10-19 (for one day visitors). An aquatic park among tropical greenhouse gardens. The park covers an area of 10,000 m² with water slides, indoor and outdoor pools and whirlpools. A bowling alley, mini golf, playgrounds and a wide range of other activities are also available.
