Budești Josani. Maramures

Wooden churches from Maramures (Wikipedia: Wooden churches from Maramureș) is a set of eight remarkable examples of various architectural solutions from different periods and areas. They sound narrow but tall, with slender, long towers at the western end of the building. That is why they are the expression of the local peculiarity of the cultural landscape of this mountainous area in the north romania.

These have been included in UNESCO World Heritage Site.
