The town Brinchang lies in the north of the Cameron Highlands. Nearby is one of the most famous tea plantations in the Highlands, as well as the highest mountain in Malaysia that can be reached by car. The night market that takes place here every weekend is also famous.

Public buses start in Tanah Rata every hour between 06:30 and 18:30. The taxi ride costs around 5 ringgit.
