Brome is a spot in the district Gifhorn in Lower Saxony. Brome is located near the border with Saxony-Anhalt and was thus cut off from its eastern hinterland for many years by the German-German division. The small town has a well-preserved old town with pretty, low brick houses and the castle as features that are particularly worth seeing.
