What see

Church of Santa Maria a Lamole
  • 1 Church of Santa Maria a Lamole. Currently in a state of neglect, it dates back to the 12th-13th century. The works of art that were preserved there (today partly kept in the new parish church built in 1954 in Brucianesi) show that in the past, especially in the fifteenth century, the church had considerable importance. Between the fourth and sixth decade of the fifteenth century the frescoes that decorated the niches of the two side altars were painted, depicting St. Nicholas of Bari among saints is San Zanobi between Sante Lucia and Verdiana, from the Bicci di Lorenzo workshop. These frescoes have been removed from the church, pending an adequate museum arrangement. Church of Santa Maria a Lamole on Wikipedia church of Santa Maria a Lamole (Q3673569) on Wikidata
