the Southeast Brazil is the cultural and economic center of the country, and contains three of the four largest cities: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte.   • São Paulo  – The largest city in South America, a sprawling metropolis.

  • Tiradentes  – A well preserved historic town in the state of Minas Gerais.
  • Vitória  – The capital of the state of Espírito Santo. It is famous for its beautiful bay, close to Convento da Penha (a hill with a Franciscan convent dating from the XVIe century), its beaches and its nightlife.
