History
A small village in the commune of Mieścisko, 12 km south-east of Wągrowiec, mentioned in 1364. There is a small neo-Romanesque in the village church of st. Wojciech from 1848-1858. There is a painting in the main altar The sermon of St. Wojciech.
Fun fact
There is also a red granite erratic boulder called Stone of Saint Adalbert, the second largest erratic boulder in Greater Poland. 20.5 m circumference, 1.3 m high, the oldest protected erratic boulder in Poland (since 1840). According to tradition, the missionary preached here on his way to Prussia, the depressions in the stone are sometimes interpreted as traces of his feet and the crosier.
