Cancale is a city of Brittany in the department ofIlle-et-Vilaine.
Understand
Renowned for its flat oysters since ancient times and more recently for its cupped oysters, Cancale is located in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Bathed by the English Channel, it was for a long time the home port of many bisquines whose role was formerly to dredge oysters.

Circulate
Getting around Cancale by car is easy. However, the most difficult thing will be to park. Most of the car parks are paid during the high season, only a free car park far from the port exists on Rue Ernest Lamort.
