Ille-et-Vilaine is a department in the French region Brittany and bears the serial number 35. In the north the department borders on the English Channel, in the east on the departments Some and Mayenne and to a very small extent Maine-et-Loire, in the south to the département Loire-Atlantique and in the west to the departments Morbihan and Côtes-d’Armor.
