Dinard is a french City in the department Ille-et-Vilaine in the Brittany.

Politically, the municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Malo and is the administrative seat of the canton of Dinard.

The Seaside resort was founded by English aristocrats around 1850 and still exudes a bit of British flair. Before that it was just a dependent fishing village.

Often he is called Nice of the north so you won't meet the typical Breton here.

The place is on the Rance estuary opposite Saint Malo.
