Geographical notes
It is located on the border between Alto Salento and Valle d'Itria. It is located 6km from the Adriatic Sea (in the hamlet of Torre Santa Sabina) and 12 km from the Nature Reserve and Marina of Torre Guaceto. It is 7 km from Ostuni and 34 km from Brindisi.

Along the coast of Torre Santa Sabina and Specchiolla (and in the natural and marine reserve of Torre Guaceto, but only in certain circumstances), there are some small ports, mainly frequented by fishermen.
On the train
The closest station is that of Carovigno, 3.5km north of the town, towards Torre Santa Sabina. Inaugurated in 1865, it is part of the Adriatic Railway.
By bus
Carovigno is served by the public service Stp Brindisi. Furthermore, in the month of August, the Carovigno-Torre Santa Sabina-Specchiolla section is free during the evening.
