• Traffic is made difficult by late afternoon traffic jams. On the other hand, the main artery of the city (Via Etnea) is closed to cars during the day.
• Most of the tourist spots are concentrated in such a way that it is easy to do everything on foot.

Monuments

Catania deserves to be spent at least half a day and an evening there. Located at the foot of Mount Etna, the city is built in the Baroque style and offers many charming churches and squares. At nightfall, Catania is very alive with its bars and restaurants. Most of the places to see are in the city center, in a narrow perimeter around Via Etnea.
