It is at an altitude of 1606 meters above sea level. the highest point in the Bernese Jura. It is a popular destination in the area of Biel and Neuchâtel and offers a unique view of the Swiss Plateau and the Alps. The Chasseral is the highest section of the long mountain range of the Taubenloch Gorge to Neuchâtel.
