background
This cave just outside Benque Viejo del Carmen on the Morales family's private estate was discovered by accident. When the Morales dog disappeared into a rock wall while hunting, the search for it discovered the entrance to this cave system. Numerous Maya finds were discovered that can still be seen today. The entire cave has still not been explored. Che Chem Ha roughly means poison wood water.

Tourist Attractions
- Vessels. Although the main vessels in the museum are after Belmopan or were sent to the USA for investigation, hundreds can still be found here. Many of them are intact and show remains of the contents such as grain as well as ornaments and some have a lid.
- Great Chamber. This chamber, measuring around 50 meters in diameter and 75 meters high, has a fireplace in the middle and the blackening of the ceiling shows that it has been used extensively.
