The islands off the central coast are:

- Desventuradas Islands - A couple of tiny uninhabited islands approximately 870km from Valparaíso.
- Juan Fernández Islands - About 660 km from Valparaíso, the Juan Fernandez Archipelago is a group of volcanic islands listed below.
