Pregnancy - village in Poland, in Greater Poland Voivodeship, in Słupca County, in Lądek commune.Located on the Warta River, 9 km south of west from Słupca and the A2 motorway, 6 km west of the town of Ląd and 8 km from the town of Lądek (Słupca poviat).

First mentioned in 1251 as the seat of the castellany, until 1818 it was the property of the Poznań bishops.

There is a gothic church. st. John the Baptist from 1535, which in 1760 was rebuilt into a baroque one. Inside, among others late renaissance bishop throne from the beginning of the 17th century and the painting Adoration of the Scapular from around 1650.

On the edge of the extensive Warta valley, there is a palace and park complex. The palace in its present shape, erected in the years 1760-1768, was the center of the property of the Poznań bishops. A late-baroque, three-storey building, covered with a mansard roof, fragmented with pilasters with rich rococo decorations. An outbuilding adjoins the palace with a gallery from the west. Currently, the palace houses the House of Creative Work and the conference center of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań and the collections are kept Masons University Library. In front of the palace, there is a monument to Fr. Szczęsny Dettlaff (1878-1961), art historian, prof. University of Poznań.

The palace is situated in a 10-hectare park with terraces sloping towards the Warta River. It has retained the regular, baroque layout, as it was established in the 18th century. 18th century viewing mound (known as Tatarska or Kamienna Górka).

There is a ferry crossing in the village Worth.
