Clearwater is a city in British Columbia, Canada.
background
Clearwater is a small community of 1,400 people in British Columbia and entrance gate to Wells Gray Provincial Park. There is a police training facility in Clearwater. The chances of being controlled or encountering speed traps in this area are therefore higher than usual.
Unless you've already taken precautions, your first act in Clearwater should be to get yourself a bottle Muscol (Mosquito repellant) and to use them consistently. The local mosquitoes in the park are numerous and "mean". Some of the stitches go through clothing, appear after 2-3 days and itch like hell.
The second action should be to go to the local tourist information office, which can wait out with lots of useful tips and brochures. The tourist information center is on the left (coming from Kamloops) on the main road by the approach to the park. Next to it is a large brown plastic bowl.

- Most travel guides point the way to the south side of the Helmcken Falls. Probably because it's easy to get there by car.
