Colima, officially theFree and Sovereign State of Colima (Estado Libre y Soberano de Colima), is a small state of Mexico located in the west of the country on the Pacific Rim.
Understand
The state of Colima has very little tourist infrastructure. You have to be a little adventurous to occupy yourself in the region. You have the tour operators who will charge you around 1000 pesos per person during the day. To note Colima Magic, has a guide who speaks French. Bus transport does not allow you to reach all the points of interest in the region.
Still, the region offers views that no photo can give you.

– El Fuego volcano (3 820 m) is very active, every day eruptions of ash can be seen around, and we can hear its rumblings. (last update Feb. 2018) - Yerba Buena (at 3 km southwest of El fuego volcano) – Yerba Buena offers a splendid view of the El Fuego volcano as long as you get up early. Yerba Buena is a small village of 30 inhabitants. You can get there by bus from the city of Colima from the Rojo bus station. There are only a few buses a day, one of which is at 7 h 00 and one to 13 h 00. For the return it is better to arrange with the heater. The bus will drop you off at 7 km from Yerba Buena, the road to get there is beautiful. At the entrance of Yerba buena is the start of a short hike of 3-4 km on the right. (last update Feb. 2018)
