Jermuk is a city of southern armenia.

Understand

Jermuk is a spa town, where much of the country's mineral water comes from. The city is full of Soviet hotels and sanatoria, some of which have been renovated to a high standard. The area around this very high altitude spa resort is worth a visit as well, with canyons, forests and wildlife to be discovered.

To go

Marchrourtkas and buses leave from Kilikia (south) bus station in Yerevan. Shared taxis from Kilikia or regular taxis from anywhere will work just as well, as will renting a car or a bicycle.
