By train

The 1 The train station is the station of the Tauernbahn, it connects Schwarzach im Pongau with Carinthia. There are direct connections to Salzburg and Spittal.

By bus

In the street

Dorfgastein is about 6 km from the entrance to the Gastein Valley. The place can be reached from Salzburg via the Tauern Autobahn A10, continue on Pinzgauerstraße 311 until the entrance of the Gastein Valley, then through the approximately 1.5 km long gorge tunnel on Gasteiner Straße B167 to Dorfgastein.

By bike (optional)

The Gastein Cycle Path begins at the entrance of the Gastein Valley, it leads on its own lane through the Klammtunnel and goes parallel to the road via Dorfgastein Bad Gastein.
