Thecentral Europe is a region forming the heart of theEurope. It understands the language countries German, four former member states of the Warsaw Pact who joined theEuropean Union, and the Slovenia, former Yugoslav Republic, now a member of the EU. Only the Swiss and the Liechtenstein are not tiny EU member states but share close economic and cultural ties with the region, but also have remained distant for primarily economic and historical reasons.
