Car traffic in Gap is quite easy. The town runs along the route from Marseilles at Briancon. Traffic is dense during the tourist seasons (winter and summer) and some traffic jams can occur, especially on Saturdays.

Cycling is rather easy, although there are no cycle paths in the center.
